Katie Paterson has the ability to turn cosmological data into poetic, accessible and attractive arrangements. She implements quantitive data collected from telescopes through day-to-day means: in letters, loudspeakers, confetti canons and turntables. She cleverly reduces unfathomable information into simple points, somehow subtly clarifying the insignificance of the human race.
